What a storm, thought i was back home in Maine for a while. I live on an unplowed dirt road and left my car at a 7-11 and trudged 2 miles thru kneedeep snow to get home yesterday.
The pic is a '56 F100 sitting in the parking lot. This is from a few minutes ago and a lot of snow has gone from the top. Some snow is piled up next to it from where i shoveled to get to the shop door.

I was born in Kalamazoo in 1956. In 1963 Dad moved us to Southern Cal. Every saturday morning he'd line us up and point to the snow shovel and say" See that? Dont you ever move anywhere where your going to need one of those," Then he'd kick it to the other side of the yard and we'd recieve orders not to move it. Next saturday, same thing only the snow shovel would go in the opposite direction.
Around 1965 the handle broke off and we were allowed to throw it away. That was the only time we touched it.
    Miss you bad,Dad.

We got it real bad here in Peoria,IL. We have about a half and inch and no more expected. Not bad for the midwest.

Was about 40 Friday morning, pulled the wiring harness out of my '54 and made my bellhousing access panel, started sleeting Friday night, made a 50 mile round trip to Richmond and came back to about 1-inch of snow.

Woke up yesterday morning at my girlfriends to 6-inches of snow and no electricity. Cold coffee, biscuits, and ham and as I was walking out the door the power came back on. Has flurried and accumulated ever since. No electricity at home, running a generator to get online. Some places will not have power till after Christmas. Thankful I've got my Delta 88 land yacht with a toasty heater.

I know some of you guys don't want to hear this, but upstate NY didn't get a single flake. We really dodged the bullet this time.
