The clutch in my Pontiac needs to be replaced and I'm trying to cross reference the pilot bearing. The bearing number that is on Rockauto is a National 7109. The bearing is not sealed I'm trying to cross reference it over to a sealed bearing but I'm not having any luck finding one. The engine in my 51 Pontiac Chieftain is 239 straight six.
6202-2RSJ is as close as you can get. It's .003 wider. The 7109 is actually a metric bearing, 15mm by 32mm by 9mm. The 6202-2RSJ is a common pilot bearing on a lot of imports, and most part stores stock it. The NAPA in my little town has two in stock. It's also used as the front bearing on Nippon-Denso alternators.
You should be able to get a 7109 or 77109 (double shielded) bearing or equivalent from any bearing and power transmission house. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
OlCar Bearing in SC most likely has the bearing (OE). I would give him a call. google OlCar to get his number.
