    I saw this replica of Hayden Proffit's '62 bubbletop at the Super Chevy Show in Tucson a few weeks ago. The car was a replica, but the driver was original as Hayden made a few passes down the strip:

    Man.......that is a "dead nuts" recreation of his original. That guy was a RACER!

    i remember when he came to the seattle area.when the car would launch he would lurch back in the seat to magnify the weight transfer.i'd never seen anybody do that before.those "tricky" californians.
