Event Coverage HCB Car Show Ashby MA

Anybody going? I heard my old corvette was in that area and spoke to a guy from the Ashby American Legion that's putting on the show. He knows of a bright yellow 62 Corvette and that they expect it to be at show, so I'm going, I haven't seen the car since I sold it in 1986. Picture with chrome wheels as I sold it. Picture with americans found on Hamb.

Went to the show, it was a 185 mi. 3-1/2hr drive but worth it. I saw my old Corvette that I sold in 86 when I moved back to NY. Car looks better than when I sold it and is still a "Hot Rod" Corvette. The show is real nice, I only got a few hamb friendly cars but these few are awesome. The drive was well worth it for me. Enjoy.

Was the current owner the one you sold it to? And was the owner happy to hear about it's past?
Maybe he wasn't happy to hear about all the street racing you did.
Great that you could see it again and in such great condition. Not a lot of folks get that opportunity.

 

He bought it from a dealer shortly after I sold it. He's had it over 30 yrs and repainted it same color, added disk brakes and chromed stuff. He was glad to hear about car.
