Well... I got some more work in on my camera mount. It's not perfect, but it is much better than before. I took a ride to the speed shop and thought I would show off some video of the adventure. It's not super exciting, but it what it is... A hot rod in Austin. Check it out: <object width="569" height="320"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="movie" value="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=4653598&server=vimeo.com&show_title=0&show_byline=0&show_portrait=0&color=c2000a&fullscreen=1" /><embed src="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=4653598&server=vimeo.com&show_title=0&show_byline=0&show_portrait=0&color=c2000a&fullscreen=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" width="569" height="320"></embed></object>
That was cool I watched the whole thing and then found out how to make it full screen . Oh I saw that fat bug on your window kitchen a ride lol..............
You should have rolled out today... Pretty cool deal. Yeah, it rules... I hacked mine up so that I could install a wide angle lense. I didn't notice that in "real time." I wonder who that is...
I think the ignition might be screwing with the camera... When the motor is running, the video is a bit wavy... Shut it down and no more waves. Screwy.
Fun viewing. I had no clue what Austin looked like until that. That bike shop you passed any good? Joyo would know.
I got a cheap wide angle kit meant for a conventional camcorder. It came with step down rings. I glued the 37mm step down ring (ghetto) to the front of the flip and then screwed in the wide angle lense... Works awesome.
A few months back I finally got a new LARGE mac and this was the first thing I saw, video wise with that much clarity....neat. I have the worst sense of direction so it was pretty cool when you made the last turns, I knew it was into ASS!
If that camera was mounted in my model a the picture would have been bouncing so bad you could not tell what you were filming.Maybe i will work on that this weekend
On those motor revs. I used a plastic washer to insulate the camera from the mount. Big difference in the quality when I forget to use it.
Ryan, the flatty sounds great! If it weren't for the soft cushy chair I'm sitting in, I could just about feel the potholes! You're gonna have a blast with that thing! Can you post a pic of the vid cam?
Here ya go... That's the wide angle attachment sitting beside it... It's about half the size of an iPhone.
Man, that sucker is clear as a bell!! Full screen is killer. I believe that fan is slippin' a bit. 'at there is one o' them there 'gotta have's. Nice clip...
Amazing video especially in full screen. If I sit close to the screen I feel like I'm in the car with you. Lets see your mount? Gary
