Been puttering on my 28rpu over the winter, and decided to look at the V8-60 I obtained in 1995. Gentleman stated it had been rebuilt in 1975 and was ready to go. Started disassembly today and found the old guy was correct. Still has silver paint on pistons and inside intake valley. My question is the bottom 6 head bolts are shorter than the upper ones, and they do not come out far enough to mount my Eddie Meyer heads. Is there a easy solution?

I should correct myself. They are studs, but apparently nothing special. I'll just amble down to Home Depot and get some
