head light plugs

    can anyone tell me what wires are what on a head light plug?

    Depends on the manufacturer.
    Usually - GREEN = Ground
    BLACK or RED = Hi beam
    WHITE = Lo beam

    Sometimes the Lo beam can be YELLOW.
    But without knowing the manufacturer; it's hard to say.

    I I .......top terminal is low beam(+), two "I"'s are high beam (+) & (-).

    Looking at the back of the bulb...

    Left terminal - ground
    Top terminal - low beam hot
    Right terminal - high beam hot

    That explains why my high beam indicator light burns on high & low beam, I wired mine wrong, good information to know.
