I have exhausted all my seach attempts to find a header bow Seal for a 1954 dodge royal convertible.. I tried all the sites on the internet with no luck except for pat walsh parts and he wants almost $200 dollars for a piece of rubber. do you guys have any other sources or leads ? I found a pic of that particular mopar on internet. Thanks john
I would pay the $200. You have a rare car (even if you take ALL the '53-'54 Dodge and Plymouth convertibles out there) so the demand for such parts is low. You can spend hours looking (and time is money) or just order it from Walsh. Awesome car, BTW! I love a '54 Dodge, a Pace Car even more so!
I agree completely with arkiehotrods. It's supply and demand. Besides, If they were being made, would probably cost nearly as much because it is not cheap to make the necessary molds. I've owned a couple of '53 Plymouth convertibles, years ago, never had an opportunity for a Dodge ragtop. I do have a '53 Dodge Coronet Diplomat hardtop, 241 hemi, 3 spd manual w/OD. You have a scarce car.......it's worth the $200 to do it right.
