Do any of you guys remember the post(a long time ago) that someone showed a killer way of making cool looking removable(aluminum sorta half round/cup shaped) header caps??? I tried the search but came up zero.
    Thanks in advance [IMG]

  3. I posted a picture of some Supertrapps that I have for sale. They're cup-shaped, removable, and stainless steel.

  5. I know it sucks to hear but the best looking ones I could find were from MoonEyes. I like the little dump tubes and they always look good to me.

I made a set of side pipes myself for my coupe but these little $30 dollar jobs look way better to me. I think you may want to just buy something and spend your time fabricating something else. Mine havn't turned blue (which I think looks cool anyway) and are loud as hell with the caps off.

Most of that car is hand made but the stuff that looks cool is store bought! [IMG]

    Hey Lockjaw,
What year is that steering gear from? Looks like a late 40's Ford. Do you any better pictures of the bracket that adapts it to the Model A frame?
I'm thinking of replacing my '68 Falcon box on my A to make it more "correct".

  11. 34Fordtk....They're made to fit a 3 1/2" collector and use 5" discs. I want $65.00 plus shipping.

I'm pretty sure the post you mean was done by AV8, he made them for his 29 roadster, they are shown in his book,'how to build a traditional ford hot rod' by Mike Bishop and Vern Tardell.

Here is what fab32 built for my 37. The big wingbolt screws into a nut welded into the header. They come off quick and in one piece.
