I bought a header kit for Speedway. I noticed that one side of the flange the edges are slightly beveled. I assume this is for a good weld but is it intended so that you can weld the inside or is it for the outside? So beveled out or in towards the block?
    Thanks

  2. When I made my S2D header flanges I beveled them on the block side and welded them on the inside. I put the whole flange on the belt sander so I ended up with a perfectly flat sealing surface when done.

I also followed some advice from and old tech, by C9 or 40StudeDude or someone and ran a fillet of Braze around the outside of the tubes to give it a nice clean finished look.
    Good Luck.
