I want to paint my lake headers white. Anybody had luck at this without flaking & chipping? What's the best rattle can paint for this?

I use VHT high temp paint on all my exhaust but i get the headers blasted and phosphate coated first which is cheap, Last's a good 12-14 months before it needs doing again.

i used POR15 high temp paint on my manifold and it held up pretty good... but it only comes in black, and maybe silver. You could paint it with POR15 first, then paint with white... or just get them powder or ceramic coated

Ive had good luck with VHT. Eastwood has good header paint, also. Sandblast them first.
