I have a 1950 F-1 with the stock 8BA, and I want to get all the header fitting issues out of the way before I start REALLY tearing it down. Aka: removing the cab, etc etc... Almost every header on the market claims to have a fitment issue of some sort, somewhere. I want to see pictures of the problem and the solution you came up with to make it work. Please be clear as to what brand they are, what was done, and so on. I am also working on a budget, so please no "Just buy these $450 headers, and your troubles are over." If I bought every expensive custom made part I needed to finish this truck, I would have to finish it in the afterlife, lol.
I guess that would mean these? They look COMPLETELY different than anything else on the market. And that is a good thing! The price is expected, but not horrible. I can sell a couple of my MANY bicycles, and cover that with ease. http://reds-headers.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5&products_id=778
I have the Reds headers as well. I have the typical shorty type. But they do make a long tube. The are real nice and sound soooooooo good.
