Does anyone have a 351W in their 52-54 car and using a block hugger header? I have a set of Headman headers that I got last year and after attempting many modifications, and theroies I have come to the decision that I need to invest in a different type of header. I am trying my hardest to keep the original column shift. The last thing that I want to do is change to the floor shifter.
I've found some shorty headers that are for a 302. I know there is a height difference between the 302 and 351W, but will there be any problems with exhaust leaks? I just want to clear the original manual steering box.
