I'm heading out to Los Angeles for work next week. Will be there Mon-Sat. Flyout early on Sat Morn.

I will be working during the days but will be looking for suggestions on what to see in the evenings. Car stuff: cruize nights, Tradtional hot rod shops possibly open late?

Does Bob's in Burbank have have a cruize night on Fridays?

Also may have some time during the day on Friday. Any good military salvage places where a guy can buy air craft nuts and bolts? Feel free to send me a pm if you don't want to broadcast a location.

Any suggestions and help would be appreciated

    Thanks

Long Beach Grand Prix. is that weekend. You can catch some exhibition events on Friday.

  3. Tdog, try Cal Aero on (I think) Paramount or Cherry in Paramount. Surplus stuff by the pound...

Thanks for all the help. Looks like I am busy on Wed night for sure:)

    Making time for Cal Aero!!!!!!!!!

  9. The good news is that Cal Aero is really near Bob's Broiler in Downey. You'll find lots of HAMBers at the Broiler. Be sure to introduce yourself.

  10. Yes, Bob's Taluca Lake (Burbank) is every friday night. Might even see a celeb. or two there.

I will be at Bob's Friday night! This Nebraska guy is excited!

  13. Canon707 had a good sugestion. Hollywood hot rod shop is in Burbank, about 2 miles from Bob's. Check them out befoer you head over to Bob's.

Another good place is the Nethercutt Museum if you like the classics. It's free so you can save your cash for the burger and fries at Bob's.....Clay

  14. The Nethercutt is a great suggestion. Probably the best museum ever.

For the Nethercutt Museum call in advance and get yourself on the list for the tour on the other side. Can't get in at the last minute on this side only in the main museum.

  16. If you can stretch your stay to the 25th there are so many things going that it is almost a joke.
