Headlamp and blinker in one??????

This is what I did on my truck, looks stock, works good, was easy to do. Wire the dual filament bulb so the brighter filament is the one for the turn signal.

 

Drives me nuts how people on the HAMB will judge other people's ideas and will snipe and say that it isn't "traditional" enough, or that it is too "street rod" (or worse! *gasp* "r*t r*d!!!), but WON'T offer any constructive tips or to offer to help! Yet, they'll call themselves "bad a$$ devil-may-care "hot rodders" who live on the edge, and we don't care what people think of our red 32 Fords with our small block Chevy engines that look just like everybody else's red 32 Ford with a small block Chevy...

I like the idea of changing out the sockets and running an 1157 (double filament) bulb in there instead of the 1156 (single filament) bulb. It seems like the easiest solution.

But *oh no*!!! I just realized!!! Did they even HAVE 1157 bulbs back then...??? You absolutely ARE NOT ALLOWED to use them if they didn't!!! (just kidding!)

I put a set of these into B-L-C 682-J buckets and they work awsome!!!
