Projects Headlight wiring

    Guys - Working on a friend's '52 Willys Aero and not only re-wiring but going to 12v. The shop manual didn't color code the schematic and I'd like your input on which of the two spade connectors is high and low beam. (The ground is obvious) Thanks much!

    Grab a sealed beam headlight bulb and some alligator clips and a battery. Not hard to figure it out yourself.

    or, to try to minimize confusion.... green is high beam, black is ground, tan is low beam

    About a week ago, I turned on my headlights and noticed that the right one looked a bit dim. Took off the trim ring for a look and noticed that the last time I plugged the connector on, I had rotated the plug 90 degrees. It would work this way on either low or high beam since it would be a complete circuit. Sometimes I need to pay attention to what I'm doing.
