I went with Stock Interiors and am very happy with it. The first one they sent me was for a post car. I also didn't like the color of the material, so the replacement/new one was whiter and looks great(except for one spot in the front from the installer newb).

    Very happy with www.automotiveinteriors.com
They are out of Worchester, M***. Large selection of materials, including cottons, vinyls and synthetics. I picked a synthetic that is a similar look and feel to the old mohair. You can have them send swatches of those your considering. Excellent quality and service. headliner 013.JPG

Thanks for both replies. Anyone dealt with Newstalgia Chantilly VA?
    Appreciate the help.

A lot of these places get their stuff from a vendor and resell them, I went to a place I thought was local to see the product it was a UPS store post office box, might want to Google map their address.

Looks like the back window has to come out to do the '57 headliner. Is there a way around it?

NO, It has to come out and the Ford Shop Manual calls for it and the youtube videos show it as well and a book on upholstery show it as also so be sure to order a new rear gl*** seal so you have it ready to go. Sometimes there is no easy way I'm faced with the same issue after contacting several upholstery shops.

Agreed.....the back window removal is a must. Also, it may be possible to do the front without removing the windshield, but I wouldn't. It would make the job very difficult imho. Go back to my picture, Bob. The fabric wraps around the outer flange in the back. Not so in the front, but look at the windshield area in that pic....lots of clamps, back and forth, little by little getting it right. Not sure how I'd do it without being able to temporarily clamp the fabric in place. A pro upholsterer may have a different thought on that.
Jeff, what did the shops you talked to say about the windshield?

All of them said the back had to come out but the front could stay,I talked to four different ones and all of them contract a gl*** guy to come out and R&R the gl*** and to bring the right seal to have on hand.

My gl*** guy is the one that mentioned it. He does gl*** for a few restoration shops and sees a lot of old cars. He told me to get a seal and give him a call and he'd remove it for me when I'm ready.
