I'm looking for a headliner for my 56 mainline. I found a place that lists one for a customline but not a mainline. When I called the lady on the phone said she does not know if they are the same. Does anyone know if they are the same or where i can find a good headliner. I also need carpet and windlace. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd imagine that a Customline headliner would fit, perhaps the Mainline just used a different material.

Ditto carpets, If I recall... Mainlines didn't have carpeting, just rubber floor mats.

Yep, no carpeting on Mainlines, just a rubber mat over entire floor.

If I remember correctly our 1955 Mainline's headliner had that mousey gray fabric.

It quickly turned brownish do to our ciggie smoking parents though.
