Projects Heart engine for '57

Hello, I would like your opinion about something dear to my heart, I attached pictures of my 1957 Ford truck, it is now equipped with a 6 cylinder in line, I would be able to modify and install a Y-block engine but I do not know the specification of these types of engine, in your opinion, what would be the best and the easiest to find.

I'm starting research now because I expected a few times to find the pieces begin to change.
