Well, I heard the click (clique) so I guess I'm in....and I'm quite honored...and humbled by the opportunity.

Kinda feels like I'm sitting at the "cool guys" table in the high school cafeteria:D

I’m starting to wonder here how long it takes to fix a dadgum heater.

I wonder if that stuck door ever got unstuck? Don't remember how that ended.

It takes as long as it takes.

What stuck door are you guys referring to? If it mine I plead the 5th, senility is starting to sit in and I am forgetful, if I had one that was stuck it's obviously unstuck now. HRP

Danny do you get the feeling we are the only two sane people here? And I'm not too sure about you! ;):D Lippy

It has long been established that I am the most sane person in my immediate family, outside that circle who knows? HRP

I was sane at one time.

I think being sane is over rated. People tend to expect too much from sane people. Gene

I remember there was a thread once about mirror muffs that probably had close to 7 pages.

Hey, it's winter........heat's an appropriate topic. Besides, a bunch of us old retired farts are probably bored as hell waiting for good roadtrip weather.

Update, I received the replacement valve last week and had planned to replace it over the weekend but locked myself out of the car, that problem was rectified Monday evening without any damage to glass! :D

Last night I removed the heater hoses and drained enough water as to not make a Biblical flood but enough water and anti freeze to make a mess.

The old valve was simple to remove and the new one eased in place, I was thinking this is to ease and it was, draining water was the worst of it, I replaced the hoses, topped of the radiator and cranked the car.

I drove the car about 3 miles with the heat on high and it darn near run me out, the outside temperature was hovering around 36 degrees.

Bring on the cold weather, the stocking cap and gloves are off! :D HRP

Now that you are unlocked and have heat, leave the running boards alone.

The locked door is resolved? Must have missed that somehow.
