Does anyone know where I can get the weight for the heat riser on a 235 in a 57 chevy. I can't find one anywhere.

    Thanks,
    Brandon

Thanks Henry, I'd really appreciate it. I was planning on driving my '57 to the Frog Follies this weekend but I'm not sure if I'll make it. Isn't that always how it goes.

Well no luck, my intake and exhaust manifold seem to be missing.

  7. Wire it open, I did that when the spring broke. Runs ****py when it's cold but once it warms up it's fine.

Nope, no halfway job for me. When I drive it on cold mornings it will barely run. By the time it finally warms up to idle I'm already where I'm going. I have plans to make a new shaft out bushings out of stainless steel so I won't have this sticking problem any more. If the darned weight hadn't broken I'd be doing OK.

  9. Well, I'm not saying do it permanent, but it will get you where you have to go in the meantime.
