I would love to see what you are suggesting. As always, your post makes a lot of sense, it's my little mind, gets lost in the translation.

Here's a braided banjo hose I did on a trailer. [The banjo can clocked] This was done so the line doesn't get wiped off.
The line here was custom made and 6m long [all the way back to a "T" on the rear axle]
This eliminated leaks and the need for 4 lines [one at the M/C, one at the tilt deck tongue, 2 at the brake calipers]

I go the idea from my NZV8 Falcon Touring Car , where the M/C needed to be pulled aside to install / remove the headers and steering column.
2 bolts at the booster were removed and the M/C was pulled out of the way.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've also seen full length braided lines on a 4th Gen Camaro Race Car , that used a twin M/C pedal box.
The rear line ran from the M/C down to the L/H rear caliper. Then another line went from the L/H caliper bleed hole over to the R/H caliper.
This only required bleeding the R/R caliper to get the air out.

  3. I didn't end up using any shielding on anything, drove it all last summer and this summer so far without issues.

I know you showed that you got by with nothing, but I like this idea! Nothing says you couldn't drill a couple holes and route that line inside, then back out. Good to see you got your deal to work as is though,
