We all know it starts out simple enough, and in this case it started with a Newport electric wiper conversion.Working under the dash I found bare wires twisted together with or with electrical tape, etc.! (I know it needs to be rewired, but that is not in the cards right now.)
Got all that straightened out and I figured while I'm under there, I may as well get all the dash lights working as well.
Got everything working except the heater control light. Bulb holder is dangling under the dash and I can't figure out where the damn thing goes.. I can not see or feel a hole for the bulb holder to go into.
    Thanks for any ***istance!.

I have a '59 Ford and I believe there is a clip that holds the bulb onto the control frame. I had my heater control out so it was pretty obvious. I made the heater light common with the dash bulbs.

I ***umed it came in from the top, like the radio and clock, but it is dead center of the control.
What PITA to find with the controls installed!
Of course the light socket is bad, which explains why it is dangling under the dash....

Look around on eBay for used ones, you may see where the bulb goes in one of the pictures.
