hahaha, that´s weird and ... uhmmm...kinda ugly, but a lot prettier than a stock 2CV.
In the first pic I thought it tried to disassemble itself, just like the Peugoet in the TV commercial... but then, there are a lot of nice details on it. Different for sure.

Looks like some of the back section is from the front of a VW combi

I really just like the back but what the hell is holding those back fenders in position without them being welded and non-removable???

I think he should turn it around and drive it with the back end as the front. That would make a wicked nose....almost looks like a beak!

Does anybody have a pic of what that thing was supposed to look like???? THAT'S WICKED LOOKING!!!!! :D

If you drove it backwards the fenders would look like the Rocketeer.

Is that a HEAVILY modified VW beetle?????

    Thats funny...
I was looking at these Pics of an other Boat tailed 2CV a couple of days ago.
This one was competing in a 24 Hr Race, and it looks like its powered by a BMW Flat 2 Motorcycle Engine.

i don't know about anyone else, but that's giving me some ideas for a old VW body...

  21. That is really cool, nice to see some creativity, i'm mean with old cars there are few truly NEW ideas around nowadays

  22. I really like the shifter placement.

  23. Shifter placement is standard - looks like the rest of the running gear is too.
The 2CV engine looks like a BMW flat twin but is much better quality.

I thought my trike (see below) was the most radical use of 2CV parts but I stand corrected. I have plenty of 2CV panels in the garage - I've got to go out and mock something up!!

Talk about your drug influenced art, I LIKE IT.

And I have to ask that same question, how do you change the rear tire???

46- "Step away from the photoshop, keep your hands visible, assume the position." :D

  28. The rear fenders mount on to the hub at the end of the suspension arm.

If the builder has used early inertia damper arms but late model telescopic dampers he will be left with some heavy duty brackets on the hub end of the arm. These can be tapped and used to mount the fenders. All you would need then are a couple of bolts (set screws) to take the fender on and off.

I have a picture below showing a simliar arrangement on the front end of my trike.

I'm using a similar arrangement off the backplate of the F100 brakes on my 27T modified. I'm now just wondering whether to make up some helmet style fenders from the 2CV panels in my garage!!
