  1. I apologize then. Please accept my retraction. I have a tendancy to critique. I know...it's a flaw!

Your right! The only thing cool about the van is the logo- that art is rad! Ok... the paint is good to.

Well we made it home back to florida with the van, and learned that a blowout on a forward control van at 70mph is not all that fun lol.

Thanks guys for all the kind words about my 31. We all had a great time. This was my girlfriends first show with me and she had a ball! Thanks to the Road Devils and the Saints for the kind words and the nice awards. That was the first time I have taken the car out and beat the shit out of it since Street Rodder came and took pictures of it for the feature acouple weeks ago. It was great finally getting to get it out a do what I built the car to do...drive it and get a little road grime on it. Thanks again for all the thumbs up and super nice comments everyone gave me at the show! See ya at the next show!

  10. That is one really nice car! I'm so glad you painted it instead of the usual rusted POS! What made you put the spare on the back? That's just genius!!!!!! Congrats on a nice build...

Well its kind of 2 fold...1) its different, you just never see anyone do it and 2) it always helps to have a spare if ya gonna burn up the road. I thought about that for a while and just had to do it. There was actually alot of work to get that on there...believe it or not. Thanks Bob for the nice words

  12. It's the first car that comes up on the thread,so when I clicked on it,I went "HOLY SHIT! That's BADASS!". HUGE thumbs up dude!!!

Its not just a bad ass car the owner is a great guy also. I had the honor to shoot the killer triumph he built while the rod was still just a rolling chassis, and to see it finished.....well pics and words cant do it justice. Congrats on all your well deserved accolades at HRW

Thanks John, HAMBers if you have never met this guy (Acrochicken) you are missing one hell of a guy. John Jackson aka Chicken is one of the kewlest guys you will ever meet. This cat has got his act together and shoots really good photos. Check out his website if you never have...very talented!!!! Thanks John for everything you have done (especially for Sean). Man, when you handed me that Sean Vesely Memorial wrench...damn I had a heavy tear in my eye. That was awsome. Thanks to everyone who had a part in that, and I say that from the bottom of my heart! Your van was bad as hell...I love that thing. I hope you got some good pictures, I cant wait to see them! Congrats on your award as well, your van was very deserving!

Its the kickstart my heart picture on the website it has definetly been one of our more popular pieces lol.

Thanks for all the kind words, but I just did what anyone else would have done. Sean was a cool kat and I wish I could have spent more time with him......I guess I am one of those lucky few who get to do what they love if it wasnt for all you kick ass builders I would just be shooting pictures of happy little trees lol

Thanks to you guys who came out and supported the HRW Car Show and the event itself. Chicken, you rock. No doubts, Chicken is one of the nicest people I have ever met and has amazing talent with the camera! I hope those that came had a blast, thats what its about.

I was glad to see the quality of cars this year, too. However, let me try and explain something to those that feel more quality should be there. First, if you want better cars, bring yours. Second, the HRW Car Show, like the event, is to allow everyone to have a good time. We put on a free car show, allow some wierd shit into it, we talk to everyone we can and if you have a pre-68 ride or even a fuckin rad post-68, we'll let you in! Thats whats great about the event, you might not like everything, but everyone who comes has a ball!

As always, thanks to those that suported the show, the car show and made HRW better than ever. Chicken thanks for the coverage and call me when you cruise though Palm Beach next!
