HEI condensor ?

Which terminal on the HEI module does the condenser connect to? What is the purpose?

Goes on terminal "C" which connects to the primary lead of the coil.

 

The purpose of the condenser is to prevent electrical interference generated by the ignition system from effecting radios, tape players, etc. It is not needed for the engine to run properly. For the same reason, it's common for the output of the alternator to have one too.
