Hi everyone, I'm from the greater Seattle, Washington area, Monroe, home of the big swap meet, to be precise. I am coming back to hot rods from a long time in sports cars and road racing formula cars. I am a photographer.

I have looked at nearly every post and studied all of the Tech Posts and looked at countless pictures. My question is this; when building a new floor in say, a '34 coupe that is to be channeled, do you fab and weld the floor to the body then bolt the body and new floor to the chassis or do you mount the body at the angle and place you want then build the floor? It seems to me that I would build the new floor in the body at the hight I wanted the mount it to the frame.

I really enjoy all of the information and insights and pictures on this site. Thanks, Jim.
