    Hi everyone,
Sorry its been a long time since I checked in or posted anything. Quick update. Got my 53 to the body shop, stripping it...Good news is it all looks repairable...bad news...lots of rust on the roof line raingutter area. I am now looking for a new roof...Anyone have one that will fit the 53 Victoria?

Other option would be to repair it without putting the gutters back on. Not too sure what that would look like. I'm not going to make it original.

Thanks and as soon as I can get some pics of the work on the car I will get them posted.

    Chris

You might try putting 1952 Ford (or 1953 or 1954) in Google images there are a lot of customized Ford pictures several have the gutters smoothed.

I don't know if it's the same or not but Tuck has a 51 Victoria roof with all gl*** for sale in the cl***ifieds. They sure look the same anyway.

I found a 54 custom 2 door about 10 miles house...lucky find. Going to look at it in the morning and see about measurements on it. Anyone know if it would work?

Save yourself a lot of heartbreak and replace your top with one exactly like it. The post cars and the Victorias are completely different in the top area, doors and rear quarters. Completely different!

Careful cuts on the A pillars and the C pillars will make a quick and easy job of swapping one Vicky top for another. Anything else will be a nightmare!

And no, don't even think about chopping the top "while you're at it"!

    :)

No go on the 54. I looked at Tucks 51 in the cl***ifieds. Anyone know if the 51 and 53 would be compatible?

I doubt it as the '51 is a shoebox Ford, having owned both styles back in day,I would say no way.You almost have to have a 52-54 to interchange.
