Just wanted to get acquainted with some other old skool Hot Rodders. I'm into '31 Fords, having built the Pro Street '31 Sedan pictured here about 10 years ago. This car was powered by a '63 vintage 390 Ford big block with quenched chamber 406 heads, an Edelbrock Cross Ram with 2 600 cfm Holleys, and featured over 30 subtle body modifications including flush-fit doors and the 4-inch chop. It utilized a Total Performance rear subframe kit and a Ford Mustang II front end.
My latest project is this '31 Ford Coupe, which I intend to build a little more 'traditional' to the roots of hot rodding. It will be powered by a 354 Hemi from a '56 Chrysler Imperial with and Edelbrock ML EC6 tall ram log manifold and six '94' carburetors.
Most of the parts of '62 or '63 or earlier vintage. . .except for some 'safety/reliability' upgrades. The dash pictured is from a '50 Ford and had to be cut-down some 17" to fit in the Model A body. I've already chopped it 4-inches and intend on putting it on a '32 frame soon to finish necessary body work, etc.
