Hi Guys, I'm new here ,I'm from Rockford IL. I'v been hooked on cars since 1968 I was 8 years old.I started with Hot Wheels, and Model cars. But what Realy Hooked me was my First Drag Race, Also at age 8. I'm sure many of the members here also started the same way. I'm looking forward to reading members storys, Checking out their Cars and trucks. Hopefully Making new friends.
Thanks Alot Guys. I realy like this site. I'v been thinking long and hard about my next project , I'm saving my extra cash for a 1938 Chevy Pickup. I want to build it into a Drag racer. Body must stay Stock or close to stock with very few mods. Motor will be a Small Block Chevy, I want a 434ci ,I have the 6-71 { 4 of um} and have an Enderle Bird catcher Injection system for Alky. Shooting for 1400 HP. Trans I want a Lenco 3 speed with a torque converter and Lenco Shifter levers. I have the Rims and Tires. Shooting for 8 sec passes. I know it will cost alot, But I miss Racing. Please Tell me about the Cars you guys have, or what you want to build. Thanks again.
