Well, I have visited the H.A.M.B. many times and have been most impressed by the wealth of knowledge and quality of the tech infomation. Now I decided I needed to register, although I am not sure that I can usefully contribute with my limited knowledge and abilities. Looking at my profile it could be considered that I have entered the world of rodding - shall we say - a bit late. How I wish that I had got into it many moons ago. Never mind. As a lot do, I of course dream of a lottery win in order to get my hands on the ultimate car. In the meantime, I (I should say we, as my good lady also loves it) enjoy our existing car, which is just a humble kit but the subject of much blood sweat and tears. The main consideration for us, having experienced it on at least one occasion of driving through a town centre in a procession of cars, is all the waving from the crowds and the looks from the kids that seem to say "Mom, look at that lovely old car" We have our youngest living in California in Corona, and last October we went and had the pleasure of visiting the NHRA museum and Barry White's Speed Shop. Unfortunately our visit didn't quite coincide with SEMA.... I can say that this visit and the one a couple of years earlier opened our eyes to the States and we were made to feel very welcome. The UK has a lot to learn about customer service. Pete
Welcome to the HAMB from South Texas. There is an incredible amount of information here. There are even answers to questions that I haven't thought to ask ! Lucky667
