Hi guys, I just joined the group. Its in my profile but I have a 52 Ford Customline that I absolutely love. Nothin cruises like it. :)

I am in the process of swapping out the entire drivetrain. That 215 just didn't have enough kick for me, even after some mods. If anyone is looking for some 215/223 drivetrain parts just send me a PM.

So what do you plan going with when you do the swap? many of us have swap info and build pics on the site to help you out.A late 302 aka 5.0 with a C4 or AOD is not a hard swap to tackle.

    Welcome from Texas.

Put a Chevy in it. You won't be very popular here, but you'll stomp the **** out of everybody running one of them dinky-*** Ford motors.

    Unh-Oh. I think I just started a s**t storm!

    Duck!

Welcome to the group ! There is a ton of experience in the group and you can always get great help when you need it right here .

As for those so called 351w "Dinky-***" Ford engines comment , can't you add ? It's bigger than the smaller 350 Chev , right ? But yea you always have to have one in the crowd !
I am finishing up building my engine hopefully this week . That's a beefed up 302 with a C4 !

That's another great thing about the group , we ALL like to have some fun , but BIGGER is better even if it's "1" cube ! :D

Thanks for all the warm welcomes:). I don't have any pics yet. We are still retrofitting the 429 into the Customline. The original 429 was my fathers from a grand tourino. He always said it was a SCJ but running the numbers showed that it only had SCJ exhaust manifolds and valve covers. So far its been quite a bit of work, including cutting out the firewall and moving it back along with quite a bit of fabrication on the motor mounts and ****** mount. Unfortunately my fathers engine was **** so I am getting ready to order a crate 429 to replace it. Wish me luck that I don't run out of money before the car is on the road.

What, are you nuts? Everybody runs out of money before they get their car on the road. Anything else would be...uh...unnatural.
