Hi there from East Texas. Just wanted to intoduce myself. Im a car guy and have been all my life. Some people tell me I have an 'old car disease' (those people just don't get it). I cant resist a new project even if I have several unfinshed already. Why not spend my money on one of the projects I havent completed yet? I dont know.. Im just always looking for 'the next one'. I love bein able to say "I did it myself". I had a beautiful 1940 ford street rod pickup with a detailed 454 in it. I loved it but I sold it because I bought it that way and got tired of hearing "beautiful truck, did you do it?" and havin to say "no- I bought it that way". I just bought a 46 ford pickup Im looking forward to doing it myself so when asked if I did it myself I can say "YES, EVERY BOLT AND NUT" Im sure this board will provide alot of helpful information for reaching that goal. Thanks.
Hello from the west! allthough it usually is cheaper to buy them that way, then it is to build em, unless your one hell of a wheeler dealer / scrounger... but welcome nonetheless
