Every time I look for some worthwhile rod advice, the H.A.M.B. has what I need to know. I've been lurking around for a while and finally joined today. I'm in the USAF and have lived around the SW for the past 12 years. I have no idea where/when I'll move to next so I expect some delays in any project. I'm looking forward to spending time in the garage with my son and teaching him what my Dad taught me.
Welcome to the HAMB. Quite a few of us here in the ABQ area. Check out the NM HAMBers group. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/group.php?groupid=328
A belated Welcome from another New Mexico HAMBer! Glad you're passing the love of tinkering and building old cars to your son. Some of mine even rubbed off on one of my daughters! She always says the smell of lacquer thinner and gasoline always reminds her of helping me in the shop; cool thing for a Dad to hear some twenty years later.
