Olwood here. I have been messing with mostly old Fords since my first car, a 1933 Ford Panel truck, 1970. Then a 1932 Ford Victoria for seventeen years. I bought a 1946 Mercury woodie in a junk yard in Roundup, MT June, 1975. I put in a SBC and drove it to Yellowstone Park Rod Run that August. Moved to Alvin, TX Sept, 1975 and drove the woodie here with only the generator going out in Dallas. I still have the Merc woodie but it has been sleeping /resting for twenty years(like Rip VanWinkle). Time to get busy on it again. Also have 1957 Chrysler New Yorker and 1958 Plymouth Belvedere, both stockers left to me by my Dad. I will post some photos in an album when I can. Lifetime member of National Woodie Club.
