Quick up date. I ain't dead yet. Plan on staying that way. We're doing our best to keep the troops fat and happy here at wonderful FOB Howz E Madad. Not exactly paradise but where do you get paid to live like this..... Ok never mind Hope to be home on leave before it gets to cold to work on Stewie.

PS Thanks for the care packages... We are good on seasoning for now as mission has changed a bit. Again thanks, you don't realize what it means to me to be able to do more than the standard for my troops.

Stay safe, keep your head down! My grandson just rotated back after a year in the Helmud Valley. Expect he will go back after New Years. Every American should be proud of the service to our country the young men and women are performing. Whether or not you support the mission, you gotta support the troops.
