Hi, from Hotrodboy. I'm from Christchurch, New Zealand. I've been hotrodding for about 12yrs now. I am building my first hotrod, after owning a couple of rods built by others. My project is a 30' Tudor, it will be chopped , channeled and fenderless. I have made a good start in to the ch***is so far with a 355ci Chev backed up by a Powerglide and twisting a 9inch rear. I just picked up a steel body last week, with a bunch of patch panels to fit. I had seen the HAMB mentioned in a few magazines that I read (CKDeluxe and Ol' Skool Rodz) and also from posts on our own New Zealand Hotrod Magazine website/forum by other members of the HAMB from New Zealand, so here I am ready to surf your forum and learn more about traditional rods and offer some insight in to rodding on the other side of the world.
Hey Welcome aboard, didn't notice your intro but pick up on ya on the Burt Munro post, hope you have been buying those mags from me (Paul at Unkle Sam's I import em) was t hat the tudor body on trademe the other week ? I'm collecting bits for a 30 A coupe in the one day..... (kinda like the dreamtime they have a cross the ditch.)
Well I just got round to resizing a pic to post up-83kb wow so small, I usually upload 2500kb pics to our NZHotrod Magazine forum. So below is my self portrait the roadster body has been changed to a tudor body that is yet to get its chop'n'channel.
