Hello from CoMo

Hello everyone, love the site and finally decided to join (first ever thread post anywhere!). Grew up in SoCal where my love of rods began and living in MO now, where I hope to start my first project soon. Looking for a ride I can haul friends and family around in, something like a Tutor or a Shoebox. Tough decision. Also excited about the races down in Joplin, I had no idea such cool things were happing this close to home. My dad and uncle are Springfieldians and we’re all planning on being there this year. The swapmeet for sure and probably the oil/gas show too. Guess I'll have to learn the secret HAMBers handshake before then.
