Hello Just signed up. I have a 1940 ford truck basket case I'm looking at resto modding into a 1950's60's hot rod. I'll put a 51 Merc flathead and C6 and keep the straight axle but upgrade the rear to leaf springs. I have a line on a mustang 8 inch that will suit my needs. Im sure I'll learn lots here but likely cant contribute much knowledge. Im just learning myself. Thanks.
