First off, Farmers Branch is on the northwest-side of the 635 Frwy boundary of Dallas, and I cut my teeth on Forest Lane... if anyone on here is old enough to remember it! I started out messing with early Darts/Valiants/Barracudas, amd most of them were '64-'66s, using all of the different Mopar SBs: 273/318/340/360. (Even had the engine from an AAR Cuda in one during the early '70's.) From the '80s/'90s/'00s I did mostly 1st Gen Mustangs; The last was a '64-1/2 coupe restored to original, with the exception of factory Styled-Steel wheels, custom stereo, and dual exhaust. Now for my last hurrah I've switched to Chevrolets, namely a '68 Chevelle Malibu Sport Coupe. It was originally a 307 with a 3-on-the-tree, out of Colorado. I bought it last year having not been registered or driven since 1985 (still had '85 Colorado tags on it)! I've gotten it running, changed it to a 4-speed, and added headers, H-pipe, and dual Magnalows. It runs great, but is smoking like there's no tomorrow... maybe stuck rings? Anyway, I hope to pick-up on some insight here to get this car done right! Dave
