    Hello everyone,
As the ***le says I am in the Fort Hood area. I got stationed here in April.
I bought my wife a '29 Model A pickup on July 4th. What is more American than that- Well a lot, but it felt awesome to get an 84 year old truck.
I am starting to replace some of the worn out parts. This week I am replacing all the tires, tubes, and cleaning up the wheels. I also torn down the steering column to clean and rebuild it.

So if any members are in the area it would be great to meet up and trade stories or knowledge. I am also into building Café Racers. I have a '73 CB350four that I am overboring for my wife and a CB650 I want to run at Bonneville.

    Thanks,
    Ron

Welcome Ron from the west coast of Florida.

First I want to thank you for your service to your country and for everything you do to keep the rest of us safe.

I am sure you will find plenty of help here on the HAMB and a lot of good advice from others who have been there and done that.

    Best of Luck. Jimbo

Jimbo, I retire in a few years. When I do my family and I are moving to Tampa. I am from San Diego. So moving to the west coast of Florida will be just as nice with the Hollywood price tags for houses. I checked out your website. Who doesn't like vintage stickers. I have a Craftsman wall locker that looks plain. I will need to do some shopping.
