hello all, i broke the seal, so to speak by posting some mooneyes xmas party in july pics so i might as well introduce myself. i have been lurking awhile and have learnd much here. i have a 1960 chevy apache and its getting bagged and needs some powertrain work, slow and steady will get it done soon?? i also just picked up a 1948 ford perfect, its supposed to have been a drag car but the fab work is just plain scary! a rolling shell so im thinking fenderles, slammed and six banger powered. i try to get on the form as much as i can to read and learn. i went to viva this year and had a blast, it was a turn arount trip but next year will stay for the whole thing. i try to make as many local shows as i can, family permiting (sadly my mother is ill and she is my main priorty). so here i am. reading, learning and working on my rides! thanks, mark ps- a few pics of my projects
Is that a British '48 Ford??? I'm not familiar with that car. It's oddly small. I'm in LA too. Enjoy HAMB.
Welcome from No Cal. Spent training years in San Berdo and Boyle heights so I know SoCal some. Good luck with your mom.
