Whats going on guys, I guess I am a long time reader, first time poster? Im a teacher from Long Island and I am lucky enough to teach both Auto Shop and Metal Shop in a high school. I grew up around hot rods so teaching this sort of thing came kind of naturally so i try to bring in some sort of old project for the kids to work on like my 65 C10. Last year we did all new floors, patched the doors, rebuilt the carb, brakes, ******, electrical, etc... Its funny to see the students laugh when you bring in a rusty pile and then you tell them it will be a bad*** hot rod one day...after some sparks fly many of them start to get the vision (anything is better than body kits and fat pipes). Anyway Ive got too many projects and not enough money and can use all the advice I can get.
