Been lurking here for a looong time. Should have done an intro awhile back. The info is so good, I just dIdn't feel I had anything constructive to add. No offense intended.

The thread about Lil John prompted me to reply, so I figured I had better do an intro, quick.

I've been messing with cars since I was a teen(in my 40's now). Tri-Fives, buggies and VW's, and a couple of Harleys. Pre 48's were my favorites.

I worked as a machinist and fabricator full and part time for nearly 20 years. Mostly oil field type service work. Work as a power plant operator now and do the fab work as a hobby.

I have a 46 Ford coupe that I built myself. The only thing I haven't done is shoot the color(did all the body and prep). It has MII front and a 9" rear. It's powered by a 383 stroker with 3X2 Rochesters. I don't know if it would be considered traditional, but it is traditionally styled.

I'm currently building a 23 T. It uses a bucket type body because it was available cheap. I'm trying to stay away from the T-bucket look, though.

I'm just another FNG, but welcome. Hey, I really like the shock brackets and 1/4 'lips on the T roadster. Looks fragile but cool... has a good stance too.
