I've been reading for a while and it appears there are quite a few of you near me. My daily driver is a 72 Capri. I also have a 71 Capri, 66 Galaxie, and a conglomeration of metal that I have yet to completely nail down a name for. Since it involves a 28 Ford truck cab, that's what I end up calling it. 28 Ford roadster truck? My 28 is in pieces. I don't have the means of welding up the suspension components to make it a roller yet. If I could just make the chassis a roller, then everything else will fall into place fairly easy. Where do you guys hang out? How would I spot you? I've hung out at Kellers, Sonic in Rowlett, and back in the day, Fenders. No one ever turns an eye to the Capri though.
Welcome, Frank! I'm in Mesquite, too. I drive a purple primered 52 Chevy car all the time, in case you may have seen it. (It doesn't sit still much.) There won't be many people here that will be much interested in your Crapi... I mean Capri ... but show us that 28, no matter what shape it's in! What part of Mesquite you in? I used to live off of Bobtown right there at the Sunnyvale line, on the Garland side. Damn I miss hauling ass up and down Barnes Bridge. Only got pulled over once. Ever see an ugly white '64 El Camino w/moon discs in the area a few years ago? Welcome to the board!
Capri ??? I just left Kellers I didnt see ya !! LOL Welcome... The only reason I was at Kellers tonite was its my X,s turn with my daughter !!!
