    Hi all,

Been coming to this site for years and Im happy that the folks on this website don't go big buck on their rides.

I've got my eye on a sweet '53 Ford 4 door and I'm heading out to look at it today once I'm done printing some funeral folders.

My family always had beaters when I was growing up and i liked the old cars that weren't all gussied up and couldn't take a few dings.

My Dad wasn't too mechanically inclined, but we muddled through and the days we spent washing parts in gasoline in a Kemps ice cream bucket with him smoking over it just was the best time-Friggin' Cancer just bites.

Anyway looking forward to muddling through with some like-minded folks.

    Thanks for the welcome.
I just went over to look at the '53 and she is pretty rough.
No rad, hood held down with baling wire and that diamond shaped metal that they use for galleyways was formed and bondoed over in spots.
Oh well-had worse-'74 Buick would emit flames from the muffler every morning.
