    Hello to all,
I have a 54 1/2 Chevy truck that I have been thinking of building up but never liked the how they look until I saw a sketch in a model car mag about making a '50 chevy truckster. So I 'm looking around to learn a lil bit before I comit to a project like that. I am a mechanic in the US Navy Seabees so alot of the of the mechanics is no big deal.

Why hello my fellow Mississippian! Where abouts are you? You say Seabees...would this be at Keasler Air Force Base possibly? If so, a friend of mine, who lives in Saucier, is pretty local to you and actually goes down there a bit I believe.

There are quite a few of us within a couple hours of each other.

you may try a transport truck or ask for a trailer coming from that area to florida. the coast is right off the highway! you may get lucky and find an empty spot on an alliance venders truck.

Well I cant use a transport 'cause its been setting for almost 30 yrs. My grandpa was working on rebuilding the engine when he died and no one has messed with it since. I will work something out when the time comes. Thanks for the info anyway.
