Hello all, I am from the KC MO area and have a 51 Ford Deluxe with the flathead v8 in her, i am in the process of restoring her, acutally TRYING to remove the heads lol those head bolts are a *****, busted quite a few of them on the drivers side, using an impact, but on the p*** side, i got half of them out by hand AND THAT ****S lol. busted a good socket wrench because i was stupid and tried to use that to get them out. anyway just figured id post here as you will be seeing me alot more
Ok sorry i didnt get the pics right off, was heading to bed when i typed that lol. here goes my baby. heres how i picked her up. (No thats not me in the first picture, thats my dad) ive since cleaned out the interior (most of the big stuff and the ****, still need to take a shop vac to it lol.) Cut MOST of the rusted floorboards out, still need a few more spots, also i am in the process of tearing down the block, last weekend i got the heads and intake off, cut the exhaust off, and pulled the drive shaft, the block is almost rdy to come out but i wont be able to next weekend as its susposed to rain and im not pulling it out of the garage if it is lol. anyway heres some better pics of how she is now. and the floorboards
