My friend turned me onto this site. I've got a 1961 Bel Air 4 dr. It's got the original 235 (rebuilt around 20k ago) and a powerglide tranny. It's gotta little rust (in fact i'm looking for a left rear quarter), but definitly workable. I'm trying to decide whether to do up the 235 or just throw a small block in there.

Thanks for running such a thorough site

Do the 235. Rodded straight 6s are the shit. Course I got a 283 sbc in my truck...but still.

BTW Nebraska is the place where all good things come from...just ask me I'm from there.
