Hello from New England!

Hello and good morning everyone!

I’m Darik and am from MA. I currently have a 59a flathead V8 and me and my two kids are in the process of rebuilding it so we can then find a cl***ic and make a rat rod with it.
I come from a motorcycle background with certs from most of the major motorcycle companies. I’ve also loved older cars, trucks, and bikes so this is my very first flathead build!

That being said, I have run into a couple issues/needs already. First and foremost I am missing the lower bell housing ring that attaches to the block and oil pan. If anyone has one I would GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!!

Sounds like you and the boys will be busy with this build for awhile.

You might post your part request in wanted ads. Also, the Ford Barn guys might be able to help you.

Finally, call you build a hot rod, the term R.. Rod is not allowed here.

Welcome from the Shenandoah Valley! You might have better luck finding that piece on FORDBARN.COM. Those guys are great to work with. Keep posting pix of your build.
